Browsing the local art on Rue du Trésor
Rue du Trésor, or Treasure Street, is a renowned open-air gallery situated in a narrow alley of old Quebec City. The gallery has been operating for almost 50 years, and was founded by a group of fine arts students wishing to exhibit local art.
The street itself has been around for several hundred years, and takes its name from the time when it was used to access the Royal Treasury, where colonists once paid their taxes. |
