Mats and Mounting
Mats
I attach the print to the matboard at the corners using clear archival grade tape or archival mounting corners. Both are acid-free.
I mat each print with an extra thick, beveled 8-ply over-mat. Mats are white. I use acid-free, archival cotton rag mats from Nielsen Bainbridge for all my prints. All my mats use standard print sizes, such as 8 x 10, 8 x 12, 11 x 14, 12 x 16 and 16 x 20 inches.
Mounts
I mount each print on a bright white acid-free, museum quality matboard from Nielsen Bainbridge. All my boards use 100 percent cotton fibers and are buffered with calcium carbonate to guarantee longevity. They are 100 percent acid-free and lignin-free. |
Frames
I use black metal frames in espresso black from Neilsen Bainbridge. My frames are either 11 x 14 or 16 x 20 inches.
